Historic Villa

Splendid period villa, built in 1766, sitting on a 3.000sqm magnificent botanical garden that surrounds the historic villa, enriching everything with a beautiful view of Lake Como in a quiet position above Argegno, on the west shore, a few minutes’ drive from the beautiful shores Lake Como and the route to Switzerland. The villa comprehends eight spacious bedrooms with large windows, each with unique views of the lake and mountains. The ground floor of the villa has a large terrace overlooking Lake Como, a large entrance, a living room with fireplace, a dining room, a kitchen with fireplace, a bathroom. On the second and third floors there are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Painstakingly renovated in 2011, the original stucco mouldings and ceilings were restored, the floors were made with hand-made tiles with different types of rare marble of limited edition, the walls are decorated with frescoes with the ancient technique of Italian graffiti. The hall and the sitting room are decorated with hand-made wallpaper, the stamps of which are protected by UNESCO and dated to the beginning of the 17th century. There is space for a pool in a secluded and sunny part of the garden.
